Kashif is a mainstay of both, our firm’s dispute resolution as well as corporate advisory teams, and represents the widest array of clients at BNR in both those areas. As a result, Kashif regularly appears before the Supreme Court as well as High Courts of Pakistan and advises both local and international clients on a range of corporate and commercial issues.
Kashif also has the most experience at the firm in relation to civil trial as well as white collar crime issues and is an exceptionally adept litigator in both fields. He regularly advises corporate clients on queries relating to investigations by the National Accountability Bureau. He has also worked with clients in relation to conducting internal investigations of wrongdoing as well as holding compliance seminars to apprise employees of the scope of anti-corruption laws.
Kashif also handles a large number of banking and service matters and appears regularly in banking courts and also advises the Firm’s retainer clients on issues such as tenancy disputes, consumer rights and employment issues.
Having a keen interest in the academic world, Kashif has kept himself connected with academia by teaching at the Pakistan College of Law as an adjunct faculty member since 2008.

- Representing claimant in dispute with a local bank arising out of the termination of a loan agreement and the subsequent encashment of pledged shares.
- Acting for both respondents and financial institutions in numerous recovery cases under the banking laws.
- Advising directors of the Colony Group in proceedings under and related to the National Accountability Ordinance, 1999.
- Representing a multinational pharmaceutical company in a breach of contract case filed by a local company.
- Representing a construction company in a series of disputes against the NHA arising out of motorway construction contracts.
- Representing Pakistan’s largest tractor manufacturers before the Competition Commission of Pakistan.
- Representing one of the world’s leading tech-companies before the Lahore and Islamabad High Courts in matters arising out of a DIFC arbitration and relating to recovery of letters of credit worth approximately $21 million.
- Challenging an order of the Appellate Tribunal of the Inland Revenue, disallowing expenditure of over Rs. 1 billion, on behalf of one of Pakistan’s largest mobile network operators.
