Shahraj finds her passion in the respective fields of Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Property Law, Human Rights and Social Development.  At BNR, she is focusing on dealing with Civil, Commercial and International Arbitration and Property disputes.

She has experienced working in various subsets of law through her Summer internships at; Cornelius, Lane & Mufti (CLM), Office of Advocate General of Punjab, Office of Attorney General of Pakistan, Ramdays Law Chamber, AGHS Legal Aid Cell and Khalid Ranjha law Chamber as a legal intern. Her internship experience at London includes working at Personal Support Unit.

A notable writing of hers, “Modern Day Slavery in Pakistan,” got published by the CHRS and subsequently republished by Courting the Law. Her second article, “Human Trafficking in Pakistan,” got published by The Nation.

Beyond her academic endeavours, she was an active member of the SOAS Law Society, Lawyers Beyond Borders Society and was a part of the SOAS Women Football Team. Her vocational accolades at SOAS, also includes working as an Associate Editor for the SOAS Law Journal.
